Multi-wrench Yamaha Tenere 700 Multi-key Yamaha Tenere 700 T7. RRP has designed a high tensile steel wrench to remove the Yamaha T7 Tenere front and rear wheels as there are no suitable tools supplied with the OEM tool kit. A special 27mm socket at one end to remove the rear axle nut, which is slightly recessed into the swingarm. The opposite end of the wrench has a 19mm hex plug for undoing the hex recessed into the front wheel axle and incorporates a 10mm hex socket on the end face for loosening the front axle M6 pinch bolts. Laser cut from 5mm mild steel and galvanized. A great all in one off road tool. Interesting information Because the front axle spindle and rear axle nut are often overtightened during PDI at dealerships, it is recommended to first loosen them in the shop, using a wrench and bar, rather than this hand tracking tool. Then squeeze them again A MANO with the new tool. This way, if you need to remove a wheel along the way, it will be possible to undo it by hand pressing again. You can use your boot/foot to depress the wrench when tightening or undoing the 27mm rear axle nut, but DO NOT use the 19mm hex extension piece for extra leverage, use its pressure on the flat section of the wrench. The reason the 19mm hex extension is so long is to allow it to protrude towards the front axle and the wrench handle to still turn and clear the front fender. IT IS NOT FOR EXTRA LEVERAGE, AND DOING SO MAY BEND THE STEEL HANDLE. If you want to see the full range of accessories we have for your Yamaha I will have 700, click HERE.
